Today marks 30 years since my family and I moved from Kyiv, Ukraine to New York.

I'd normally write something like how grateful I am to my parents for taking such a huge leap and how grateful I am to everyone else who took part, etc... Only I'm in no mood to celebrate...

My heart is with the people of Ukraine
